NAME: Luo Binghe.
AGE: Early to mid-twenties.
CANON & CANON POINT: Scum Villain's Self-Saving System. Canon point is Chapter 59, when Luo Binghe falls unconscious after a fight with Tianlang Jun and is put inside a stone coffin by Shen Qingqiu. What a bro.

HISTORY:

Luo Binghe is the protagonist in a Stallion Novel. He's born to a demon father and a human mother, gets abandoned at birth and grows up begging on the streets before being taken in by a poor maid. Things are as normal as they can be for someone so poor, and when she passes away Luo is then found and chosen to join the Qing Jing Peak in order to start training. The person who has chosen him is Shen Qingqiu who is an asshole in every single way. One of Binghe's earliest encounters with Shen is where the other pours hot tea over him before walking away, causing Luo to cry and blame himself. He's also treated poorly by some of the others on the Peak too, it's a wretched childhood but one Luo faces with good grace anyway. He believes that if these things are happening then it's because he's doing something wrong; there's no way that Shen Qingqiu would do such things out of spite, surely!

Originally Shen continues to be an asshole and pushes Luo into the abyss, a place between realms. Luo stays there for five years and comes back as a blackened version of himself, super strong and handsome too. He kills millions, ruins countries and has a harem of hundreds of wives and women. However that doesn't happen due to the transmigration of a reader into the body of Shen Qingqiu. Now Binghe's shizun is being kind and it's admiration and devotion for days. Puppy love? Idolising? Luo Binghe practically radiates these things whenever he's within ten yards of his teacher. He's taught properly, enough that he becomes and accomplished student and is chosen to represent in battles against demons and stand the Immortal Alliance Conference where after fighting he's eventually kicked into the abyss by Shen anyway. The system that only Shen Qingqiu can hear/see threatens the man with being sent back home if he doesn't kick the kid into the Abyss. He knows full well Luo Binghe will come back in five years as a ridiculously overpowered protag anyway.

Luo comes back three years early with the Xin Mo Sword, takes up residence in the Huan Hua Palace, exerting his influence and taking charge, however there is no interest in women let alone a harem. He begins to realise that his teacher is avoiding him and soon he ends up fighting Shen who destructs his own spirit energy and dies. Mourning, Luo takes Shen's body and keeps it for five years, looking for a way to bring his master back. Funny enough, Shen comes back after five years in another body thanks to a special plant and they both cross paths when the Shen is picked up by another demon. Luo realises the Shen he's been seeing (and smooching) in his dreamscape is actually the real Shen. At the same time, another not!hero by the name of Liu Bingge has stolen the corpse of Shen to bury him properly It's all a kind of comical chaos really and Luo goes to cause a big fight at the Peak to draw the real Shen out of hiding. It works but then someone unknown steals Shen Qingqiu's real body as they're all distracted. So Luo Binghe takes Shen to the demon realm, trying to come to terms with the fact that his Shizun hates demons and by default means he hates Luo, confirmed due to the event at the abyss. How difficult when he's so besotted with Shen! Why did it have to be this way?

Suddenly without warning the current Shen Qingqiu suddenly dies; his real body is now in the demon mausoleum where Shen awakes. Shen Qingqiu has been brought back to his real body by Luo Binghe's demon father as bait. Luo realises this and goes there, breaking in with 200 Black Moon Rhinoceros Pythons to fight his father and cousin to save his Shizun and eventually he falls unconscious due to exertion. It's at this point Shen Qingqiu puts the unconscious Luo Binghe into a stone coffin to keep him safe as he deals with the unruly family members.

PERSONALITY:

Luo Binghe is a character that should be super complex but at the same time seems to have two emotions ranging from "Is Shizun here?" to "Ah my Shizun is here". Asides from those there are other strength's to Binghe's personality that get somewhat overshadowed by the infatuation he has for his teacher.

Binghe is one full of stubborn determination both mentally and physically. He has been shown time and time again to not change his mind on something when it is made; normally when it comes to something involving Shen QingQiu. Even when his teacher dies, Binghe stubbornly looks after Shen Qingqiu's corpse for five years, fending off any attempts to steal it back for a proper burial (looking at you Yiu) and rarely steering off course unless he truly, truly has to.

Binghe also has a blessing in the form of a protagonist aura being another strength. Unbeknown to him, being the hero of the novel affords Binghe some leeway when it comes to certain things. If something is life threatening to him in a way that does not align with the book's outcome, a random event has a chance of happening to intervene. Last time it was random rubble from the ceiling taking out the villain when there was no apparent way out of it all. Being the protagonist also means that Binghe looks great and has somewhat of a charm to him (in the book) and gives him a quiet sort of confidence that is very much "well this is this, that is that". We're talking the kind of protagonist writing that has his hair shimmering as he flicks it kind of skills, or the ability to talk people into anything if he puts his mind to it.

Also a strength is the fact that Binghe is half demon, half human. Tying in nicely with the protag aura, this means that Binghe's skill set and powers are the best of both worlds and making him more powerful than the average cultivator or demon. Originally it would have made Binghe into a very typical trope in terms of skills, taking over the world and amassing a harem. Now he's less of a trope but still very powerful and one day may have the ability to look at things from both points of view. One such power that Binghe is able to wield efficiently due to his duality is his dreamscape work. Whilst studying cultivation techniques under Shen Qingqiu, Binghe was able to study under Meng Mo (a dream demon) to learn to craft vast dream landscapes and those who reside within it. It's alluded to that no usual demons can learn them so well so quickly.

Despite being a protagonist, Luo Binghe also has an array of weaknesses to go with his strengths, though mostly these things have come around due to his own self being changed by the route of Shen Qingqiu deviating from the original norm.

Stubbornness is a two sided coin and being so stubborn can also get Binghe into trouble as it does keep him out of it. When Shen Qingqiu dies, Binghe is constantly in battles with Lord Yiu as Binghe has kept his teacher's corpse and the other wishes to retrieve it. There's no reason to be keeping it, but the stubborn part of Luo Binghe insists on it and in doing so causes around five years of strife for himself and some others around him. He's also difficult to get to change his mind if anyone but his teacher is asking him to and even then sometimes Binghe will still keep his own thoughts and mindset to himself.

Binghe is also easily prone to bouts of insecurity about himself since his time in the abyss. He understands that not everyone likes demons and is wholly aware of what his heritage can bring when it comes to the thoughts of others. He believes that due to this, Shen Qingqiu will eventually leave him and instead of facing this head on and resolving it, Binghe instead sits on those thoughts, letting them shape his actions instead. This can also lead to bouts of jealousy when it comes to said teacher and should Shizun be talking to anyone else it can be guaranteed that Binghe will want to know who they are and what it's about. If it's anyone who has the potential to "take away" his teacher then they could find themselves being confronted about it. Binghe is known to have a mean streak at points, the "original Binghe" was astonishingly cruel and sometimes it still comes through on the "new" Binghe.

Naivety is another weakness of Luo Binghe. He is far removed from being a stoic, calm cultivator and often thinks more in the heat of the moment than beforehand. Binghe can also be drawn into an argument and often speaks what is on his mind regardless of whether it's good or bad, often getting himself into trouble more than anything with it. Binghe even hands over his sword to his father, putting the world at risk of being sundered, rather than plotting something else to avert said crisis.

Binghe can also be a bit of a crybaby, but only around Shen Qingqiu. No-one else gets to see that side of the so-called amazing protagonist.

ABILITIES/SKILLS:

• Heavenly Demon Blood - When the blood of a demon possessing this ability is consumed, the victim is unable to resist the will of the owner.
• Fast Regeneration - Luo Binghe has the ability to regenerate very fast. He can also control how fast his wound regenerates, shown when he "preserves" the sword scar that Shen Qingqiu gave him through the chest, as well as through the hand.
• Dream Enchantment - As a result of Dream Dream Demon's teachings, Luo Binghe can create dreams with detailed people and scenes. Other people can also be drawn into these dreams.
• Binghe has been known to be able to collect demonic energy into his hands to help with the blows that he lands.
• Binghe is also said to be fast on his feet with amazing strength behind his blows. He's a proficient fighter and should not be taken lightly.

Luo Binghe is half demon, half human meaning he has the ability to learn skills from both sets. He's also decent at hand to hand combat and can cook well.

INVENTORY/COMPANIONS:

His sword, Xin Mo (Heart Devil Sword), a demonic blade of immense power. It is said to be disobedient and a pain in the ass to wield, but due to being the super special protagonist of the novel, Binghe seemingly has few issues wielding it to begin with (though it does become a problem near the end of the novel).

REASON:
Luo Binghe is known to be a tactician but he rarely seems to use it that often. He's more one to act in the moment, to go with gut instinct or to merely go with what feels right. An example would be that his father wants the Xin Mo sword and is holding Shen Qingqiu ransom for it. Binghe hands it over without a second thought; he doesn't think on how his demon father can rend the world in half with such a thing, he decides on what is best for him at that moment in time and the rest they can deal with as it happens.
